Terms of Use

This is a plain-English summary pending full legal review, covering use of the Swoot app by customers. Vendor and rider terms are covered separately in the vendor agreement and rider agreement.

What Swoot is

Swoot is a platform connecting customers with local merchants and independent delivery riders in Robinvale and Euston. We are not the seller of the food or goods you order, and once Swoot Ride launches, we will not be the operator of the vehicle you ride in. Those remain the responsibility of the merchant or the driver.

Service area

Swoot currently operates only within Robinvale, VIC and Euston, NSW. Orders and rides outside this area cannot be accepted.

Orders and delivery times

Preparation and delivery times shown in the app are estimates, not guarantees. They can change due to kitchen volume, weather, or road conditions.

Payment

Payments are processed securely through our payment provider. Prices shown include all fees at checkout, there are no hidden charges added afterward.

Cancellations and refunds

If a merchant does not accept your order within a reasonable time, it is automatically cancelled and refunded in full. If you have an issue with an order you received, contact support and we will resolve it directly.

Acceptable use

Do not place fraudulent orders, abuse a rider or merchant, or attempt to interfere with the operation of the app. We may suspend accounts that do.

Liability

Nothing in these terms limits any right you have under the Australian Consumer Law, which cannot be excluded.

Contact and support

Every order includes a way to reach a real person. We do not route complaints, refunds, or safety concerns through automated systems alone.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia, without limiting any right you have under New South Wales law where a delivery or ride occurs in Euston.
